ISAAC East is pleased to announce the publication of Milton Eng’s new book with Zondervan Publishers Devotions on the Hebrew Bible. Zondervan is one of the largest Christian book publishers in the country and is now part of Harper Collins.

This new title includes spiritual reflections expounded directly from the original language of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. New insights are developed in short contributions from over 35 separate authors, all experts in Hebrew and the Jewish Scriptures many of whom are Asian American. These include Chloe Sun of Logos Seminary, Bo Lim of Seattle Pacific, Barbara Leung Lai of Tyndale and Kevin Chau of Free State (South Africa).

To celebrate the publication of DHB, ISAAC East is hosting a “Book Celebration

and Signing Event” this coming weekend, Saturday (Nov. 7th) in Livingston, NJ and Sunday (Nov. 8th) in Chinatown, NYC. Eng’s co-editor Lee Fields will also be introducing a new method for learning Hebrew called TPR or Total Physical Response. All are welcome to attend. For further details or contact and to order your copy of the book, visit the ISAAC East homepage at http://www.isaacweb.org/east .

Eng is an adjunct professor of World History and Biblical Studies at William Paterson University and Pillar College. He is also East Coast Project Director for ISAAC, the Institute for the Study of Asian American Christianity and President of the Ethnic Chinese Biblical Colloquium. His Ph.D. is from Drew.
