Romans 12:4-5 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. Sometime in the Fall of 2021, when we were cautiously returning to “normal” life after the COVID pandemic, Young reached out to me. After hobbling around as an interim priest from church to church for years, I had finally been called to be the rector of a church in Long Island. When Young called to talk about the first online PastoraLab cohort, I was seriously
NE/SE Cohort Meeting We all sighed and smiled. It was the feeling of being understood, of not having to explain every detail, of not having to justify your thoughts and your response. Looking at the squares on the screen, we all just paused and had a moment of connection. This was what I felt in many of our PastoraLab meetings for the years I participated in the NE/SE Cohort. It was not the content of the questions that made me come back, but the people with similar backgroun
I participated in the PastoraLab Northeast/Southeast virtual cohort in 2022-2024. Every Asian American group or event I have participated in or created has been unique, and this one is also very special in its own way. I particularly appreciated our group’s c omfort with silence . “When Women Preach…” highlights women preachers from AAPI and Latinx faith communities. In order to create a more equal pulpit, we talk about experiences and resources that prepare women of color to preach effectively.
This past August, ISAAC brought together ministry leaders at St. Paul's Retreat Center in Los Angeles for an intensive three-day retreat focused on creation care. The Creation Care Leaders series created space for ministry leaders to explore what it means to faithfully steward God's creation in their communities and ministries.

Microplastics (MPs) have emerged as a major pollutant in the 21 st Century due to their ubiquity, recalcitrance, and impact on environmental and human health. MPs range from 1 to 5 micrometers, while smaller nanoplastics (MNPs) are less than 1 micrometer, which enable increased proliferation in and harm to living organisms. MPs and MNPs have been found everywhere on planet earth, from the tops of mountains to the depths of bodies of water, on glaciers, in the air that we b
