Russell Moy
Co-founder of ISAAC / Board Member
Young is the Co-founder and current CEO/Executive Director of ISAAC since 2011. She taught courses at Azusa Pacific University, United Theological Seminary, and Fuller Theological Seminary since 1992. She holds three MA’s in Counseling Psychology, Theology, Anthropology, and PhD in Intercultural Studies.
Viji is one of the Co-founders for ISAAC. She is a Professor at the Department of Advanced Theological Studies at Sam Higginbotham’s Institute of Science, Agriculture, and Technology. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Graduate Theological Union and a Masters at American Baptist Seminary of the West. She is the President of Little Flock Children’s Homes, a ministry to orphans and widows . She was the former Associate Pastor of First Covenant Church
Russell was born and raised in Detroit as a third generation Chinese and Korean American. He was a pastor of the First Chinese Baptist in Sacramento., then taught Christian education and Bible at Drew University in NJ and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. Russell was one of the Co-founders of ISAAC and is currently the Board Chair.

Wing Pang
Board Member
Wing serves on ISAAC’s Board as the Secretary. He is the co-founder & Executive Director of Christian Leadership Exchange as well as a consultant in urban design and planning. In the past, he has served at numerous institutions including the Chinese Studies Program at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. Wing completed a BA at UC Berkeley, a Masters in Urban Design City Planning from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning at UCLA.

David Won
Board Member
Rev. David Y. Won serves on ISAAC’s Board as Co-Treasurer. He is an accomplished civil engineer turned ordained minister with extensive experience in cross-cultural ministry and Presbyterian leadership. After earning two MS degrees in Civil Engineering and pursuing doctoral studies, he shifted his focus to theology, obtaining an M.Div. and Th.M. from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Geomon George
Board Member
Geomon serves on ISAAC’s Board as Director. He is the Dean, Co-Director of the MA program and Coordinator of the Thriving in Ministry Initiative at City Seminary of New York. A PhD graduate of the University of Edinburgh, he is ordained in the Indian Pentecostal church over 20 years, and pastor of the International Gospel Church in Norwalk, Connecticut. He also provides leadership to the International Gospel Church, a mission organization involved with church planting in India. His research interests include Diaspora Indian Christianity in North America; Christianity in India; next generation and pastoral ministry. Geomon is an author of many publications, including the book, Religious Pluralism: Challenges for Pentecostalism in India.

Rev. Joanne Rodríguez serves on ISAAC’s Board as Director. She is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, and the Executive Director of the Hispanic Theological Initiative and the Hispanic Theological Initiative Consortium at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) since 2002. She holds an MDiv. 1999, and a ThM. 2002, in homiletics from Princeton Theological Seminary. She also holds an honorary doctorate
Sukhee Kang is a businessman, civic leader and former city councilmember and two-term mayor of Irvine, California. Born and raised in South Korea, Sukhee and his wife Joanne emigrated to the United States in 1977 following his graduation from the prestigious Korea University with a degree in Food and Resource Economics.
Dr. Jonathan Tran is the Professor of Theological Ethics at Duke Divinity School. He is a Christian theologian focused on the philosophical, political and ethical implications of the human life in language. Tran is the author of works including Asian Americans and the Spirit of Racial Capitalism and has held the George W. Baines Chair of Religion. Originally from Southern California, he completed his graduate studies in theology and ethics at Duke University.

Deborah H. Gin

Jooho Lee was ISAAC’s first summer intern in 2009. He is a tenured Associate Professor of Business Ethics and Law at Pepperdine University. He received his PhD in business ethics and legal studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. His research draws on theology, philosophy, law, and economics to answer fundamental questions concerning the nature and value of business.
Andrew Kwong was born in China and raised in Hong Kong. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California. Professionally, he is a licensed pharmacist and the owner of an independent pharmacy. In addition to his career, Andrew has faithfully served the church for decades. He is a lay elder at the First Evangelical Church of Arcadia and has chaired the Social Concern Committee of the First Evangelical Church Association for more than 25 years. He also serves as chair of the board of the Upward Bound Study Center, a tutoring program supporting low-income immigrant families. With more than 50 years of involvement in mission work, Andrew has been invited to speak at churches and conferences both in the United States and abroad.
Deborah H.C. Gin joined the ATS staff in August 2014 as director of research and faculty development. In addition to launching the Association’s new research initiative and directing programs for faculty, she contributes to the ongoing dialogue about educational models that will have future viability and sustainability. Gin came to ATS from Azusa Pacific University, where she served as a senior faculty fellow in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment and as associate professor of ministry at Azusa Pacific Seminary. She previously served as director of diversity studies at Azusa.

Ray Anne Chung
Worship Leader
Frank Yamada is the sixth executive director of the Association of Theological Schools. He brings to the role decades of leadership experience in theological education and in communities of faith. During his tenure, ATS has fostered and encouraged innovation in member schools while strengthening their diverse missions to address the shifting landscape of religion and higher education. Under his leadership, ATS has re-developed the Standards of Accreditation, received $60 million in grant funding to support the future of theological schools and their leaders, successfully navigated the multiple programs of the Association through the global pandemic, and partnered with the Lilly Endowment through programs like the Pathways for Tomorrow initiative, which has granted over $700 million to ATS accredited schools and supporting organizations to innovate and adapt their models to better serve future leaders for the church and world. He has written about and speaks on the future of theological education. Before coming to ATS, he was the tenth president of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
President of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Foundation and the chief development officer for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). Shauw has 29 years of nonprofit experience. Prior to joining CBF, she was the CEO of a nonprofit organization in Beaufort, South Carolina, that serves the needs of victims of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault for over 15 years. A graduate of Baylor University and the Carver School of Church Social Work at Southern Seminary and lives in Decatur, Georgia with her spouse Paul, an ordained Baptist minister.
Ray Anne Chung has led worship for over 20 years and currently serves at One Life City Church in Fullerton, where her husband is one of the pastors. She also enjoys directing the children’s choir and seeing the next generation grow in worship. Ray Anne is a mom of 3 young children, a full time trauma nurse practitioner and a recent cancer survivor. Through all the seasons of life, music has been a sacred space of deep connection and communion with God.

Tiffany Roberts serves as the Foundation Director for Farmers & Merchants Bank. Since joining the Bank in 2020, she has developed the 501c3 corporate foundation into an active grant-making organization, and spearheads all corporate social responsibility efforts for the company including engaging F&M employees to be active through volunteerism.
Wesley is a licensed financial advisor with Thrivent, and his joy comes from providing education that empowers people to act on wise financial principles. With a background in pastoral ministry, higher education, and DEI work, he is passionate about providing biblical and culturally appropriate financial frameworks that strengthen families, congregations, and communities.
